  The Bodyguards Mod’s Official Mapping Contest

Have you ever thought to your self, “boy I can make better maps than Attrition”? This is your chance! We will be hosting a mapping contest, create an original map and send it in to us.

Rules:
1. Create an original map! No copying or re-texturing an already made map
2. Use the Counter Strike FGD
3. Keep R-Speeds under 600 please
4. Map must have 10 spawn points for each team and must be spread apart to stop telefragging
5. We will not provide any texture wads, make your own or download some

Sending your map in:
1. Everything must come in a .zip file, go to winzip.com to get this program.
2. Things to include are: Custom sprites, wads, models, 5 screenshots of the map in game, a .txt file with description of map(credits), and instructions for each team, and finally the map.

Prizes:
1. Your map will be included in Bodyguards Beta 1
2. You if you wish to accept, a mapper position on the mod
3. God-Like status from millions of adoring fans(no guarantees)

July 15, 2002 Welcome to the new redesigned Mass Hysteria Games/ Bodyguards Mod site. We have been working on the game though, Attrition has been working on his map Venice, there are some pictures of it on the map screens page. Our beloved modeler Ferret has left the ranks to venture into his own mod making experience, when he gets his site up I'll post a link so you all can see what he is doing. With that said and done we do have some new model renders on the renders page. We are in need of an experienced weapon modeler, character modeler, skinner, and animation expert. Expect an fgd in the coming days, we are working on getting one released so all you eager mappers can begin mapping for us ;0). We are also in need of an experienced coder, so if you can help us out in any of the fields please head over to the join page.
